Established 1988
As the Co-founder and Director of Perfect Books Ltd, and Perfect Software Ltd. Perfect Books was created as a book-keeping tool for keeping Solicitors' Accounts. Many years of hard work went in to the development of these tools. Only when they had been tried and tested did we decide to market the products. It is these very reliable tools we use to keep our clients records, and the "Flagship" product of Perfect Books was the leading Solicitors' Accounts Packages on the market for the smaller firms until LEAP Legal Software UK purchased the Company.
We used to train, and run the help desk in the early days so we understand users problems. We can still access our clients data going back to 1988. It is a great source of pride to know that without our initial collaboration this Accounts Software package for Solicitors would not have got where it did without our development and testing work done between 1988 and 1993 before we ever took it to the market place. The development and testing work went on well in to the late 2000's.
As former Director of Perfect Software Ltd (up to 2010) I was pleased to see the on going success of the product. We have an official legal agreement (DEED made 8th day of July 2011) with Perfect Software and any successors in title, associates or associated companies, that we will be kept up to date with any changes to the product and can continue to use it for our clients. The latest available Software source codes held by our Escrow agent, Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England & Wales to observe and comply with the subsequent terms of this DEED. Since the sale of Perfect Software Ltd to the LEAP Group of Companies it has come to our attention that the renewal of Maintenance has become an issue. Many small firms find the charges quite high.
